ROBOTIC ORTHOSIS:
ARMÉO POWER, ARMÉO SPRING
General overview
Armeo Power and Armeo Spring are two new generation devices for the rehabilitation of the neuromotor capacities of the upper limbs.
These are motorized exoskeletons.

Main objectives of the method
The objectives of the Armeo exoskeletons are to restore the patient's upper limb movement capacity through support and mobilization exercises.
The patient works in a 3D space, and the machine provides him with visual feedback ("augmented feedback"), thanks to a large number of integrated sensors, which allows him to be stimulated throughout the session and to give him precise and motivating objectives.
The Armeo is also able to distinguish areas where the patient is unable to perform movements, and therefore to adapt the level of assistance from total to zero.
Specificities of the method
An Armeo session lasts longer than a traditional rehabilitation session. The number of repetitions is also higher.
The Armeo Spring is mounted on a quick and easy positioning trolley.
The Armeo Power is equipped with an electric lifting column. It allows the mobilization and work of the arm joints while evaluating the strength and range of motion of the shoulder, elbow, forearm and wrist.
Who is this method for ?
For patients with motor disorders, cerebral palsy, hemiplegia, hemiplegia, hemiparesis, post-stroke motor sequelae.
What parents say about it
"It's incredible. We are completely safe from head to toe with harnesses, leg orthotics and walking belts. And then there is this flat screen that allows you to make gestures in a playful way with games worthy of a Playstation. Patients know that it can change everything for them, especially through the stimulation of the brain by robotic movement. For the patient, the benefits are many: their confidence, their motivation, their flexibility, their muscular power, their endurance, their resistance to fatigue..." For Dr Hervé CARLIER "This is the best thing that can be done today in terms of neural rehabilitation. Arméo Power and Lokomat offer patients the best possible care to increase their chances of recovery. »
For Bernard Hérent, Physiotherapist: "Complementary to the therapist, the repetitive action of the Lokomat and the Arméo Power corresponds to the acts of walking and movement that we cannot reproduce naturally. They really allow us to go further than the gestures of movement.
